Long-distance move from Oregon to California

Terrible Experience!!

Contracted with Full Nation as they told us they were a direct carrier. They had a different moving company show up that tried to charge us $6000 extra to move 583 cubic feet when our original contract was $3996. We couldn't get a hold of Full Nation and mover only took 262 cubic feet. Worst part is we gave full nation a very reasonable offer to make it right and they refused. They said we would have to go after other moving company's insurance company. Other mover is now out of business and all we asked for was $900 to cover part of the cost that we incurred renting a truck to move the rest of our items. Manager at Full Nation said he would lose his job if gave us any money back even though we got ripped off. This was a total scam!

Sent thugs to my house; I am traumatized

I did extensive research on movers and choose Full Nation based on assurances that they are not brokers and use their own employees. Not true. I was terrified of the thugs they sent to my home. They were threatening, screamed at me, and caused major damage to my home. I let Full Nation know this but they only escalated the situation by antagonizing the movers while they were still in my home (after I asked them not to), and they told me to "negotiate a higher price"- after all of my stuff was already loaded, or tell the movers to unload-thereby keeping them in my house longer. I signed for a higher price because I was afraid and just wanted the movers out of my house. The thug company then called to tell me they were delivering early and that if I wasn't there to meet the movers, my stuff would be put in storage and I would be charged more, despite the Bill of Lading saying earliest delivery would be 2 days later. I had to drive 16 hours straight (after the traumatic move out day) to meet the movers. Full Nation's attitude is "not our problem; take it up with the thugs." I hired Full Nation! They told me they would be with me every step of the way. A simple Google search of the thug company they sent was horrifying- I would never have hired them and yet Full Nation now says I have to take up all of my complaints with them. Your are not hiring Full Nation- don't be fooled, and they don't do even cursory due diligence on the people they send to your home. They will send dangerous, threatening people to your home and absolve themselves from all liability leaving you to deal with the disreputable company yourself. The dangerous company now has my phone number and new address. I am still terrified and Full Nation's only response is "sorry, take it up with the thugs."

Official company response

The claims this customer have made are completely and utterly false. At no point was the customer threatened or in danger. Full Nation Moving personnel was on the phone with the customer multiple times throughout the pickup. Staff insisted that if she felt threatened or uncomfortable we can have the movers leave and send a different crew, we can unload the job at no cost, and other options. In the end, the answer was no she had to move. The customer requested a direct delivery at booking which must be arranged in advance. She then complains. It's clear the only thing this customer wanted was free moving service and we reject this review as a representation of the company.

Amazing service, good team

I am very happy with my service from FUll Nation moving the team was professional and did a good job packing my items and getting me into my new home. The representative that sold the move was very tentative of my needs and always there for me when I had questions. If I was to use a long-distance moving company again I would defiantly use Full nation as they are top quality in their work. make sure you ask for Dylan to service you.

Official company response

Thank you, John. We take a great deal of pride in our work and sincerely appreciate the feedback. Dylan is one of our best Reps! Cheers and looking forward to being of service again.

Long-distance move from Arnett, OK to Ocala, FL

Wonderful!

Harry and his crew were actually able to come over a few days earlier than planned and did a great job moving my piano! All three employees were professional, courteous, and respectful. Of course, most important of all, they took great care moving my piano -- which happens to be the piano I learned to play on as a child and which I have a close attachment to. I will be using them again. I will recommend them!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4061

Official company response

Thank you! Always important to hire a mover who can handle a piano.

Avoid - still haven't refunded my deposit

If you are looking for a moving company, be very cautious of Arthur Tulin & the positive Google reviews for Full Nation Moving. My review is long, but I hope it will shed some light and steer you away from this company so you can avoid the frustration and loss of a fully refundable deposit upon cancellation.

Arthur called me in early November and, unfortunately, I picked up his call. During my first conversation with him, he was quick to tell me that Full Nation Moving has been around for 19 years, directed me to a website to show me that they are a carrier with 56 trucks and drivers & drive 3 million miles a year. He was also quick to point out the positive reviews on Google. All 5 stars should have been my first hint to do more research into this company. If you take the time to read the reviews, you will notice that they are all from 6 months ago or less. Pretty odd for a company that has been around for 19 years.

Arthur then asked me about quotes I received from other companies & conveniently, his were slightly better. Just enough to keep me interested. He was persistent & followed up with me & when I didn’t respond right away, he left me a voicemail that now seems a little odd. He said he hoped he didn’t do something to offend me. Offend me? We were just talking pricing & dates. He told me multiple times that the deposit was fully refundable if I cancelled at least 5 days before the move. The language in the contract was different & said the deposit is fully refundable if cancelled within 72 hours of booking. I also noticed that the contract said $0.50/ cu ft for storage even though I was quoted $0.25/ cu ft. More red flags.

Prior to submitting the 33% deposit ($1,643), Arthur was very prompt & available when I had questions. Arthur requested that I send the deposit via Zelle or a front and back picture of a check. Again, more red flags that should have prompted me to avoid Full Nation. As soon as my deposit was issued on 11/17, Arthur’s promptness ended & he stopped responding to my texts. On 11/18, the day after I submitted my deposit, I called Arthur from a different number, & he picked up & sounded surprised that it was me because he didn’t recognize the number. I told him that I wanted to cancel my move & requested my fully refundable deposit. This was requested within 24 hours of booking; well within the timeframe. Arthur told me to send the cancellation request in writing so I sent it to info@fullnationmoving.com, Arthur@fullnationmoving.com, billing@fullnationmoving.com just to be sure it was received by all parties. Arthur then asked me to send it to info@fullnationmovingandstorage.com. I obliged, & this email continues to get bounced back; I doubt this email address existed in the first place. I asked Arthur for the phone number to the billing dept. He told me to call the main line & follow the prompts to be connected. I tried multiple times only for the phone to ring & become disconnected without anyone picking up.

I’ve followed up with Arthur a few times via email and his responses have been, “the refund process is in billing. I will send a note to escalate the process.” “I resent your request to my Manager to get you taken care of.” It’s been 10 days and no refund has been processed. In the meantime, I’ve filed a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration National Consumer Complaint Database to investigate Full Nation Moving.

After my experience with Full Nation Moving, I’ve been skeptical of booking with other moving companies. I’ve told them about my experience with Full Nation & I was told, by law, the deposit is fully refundable. I was also told that Full Nation has only been licensed with the Dept. of Transportation as a carrier since September 2021.

At this point, I’m still hopeful that I will receive my $1,643 deposit but either way, I hope this review will save you the frustration that I’ve dealt with over the last couple weeks with this company.

Official company response

This customer was understandably frustrated as it took several weeks to receive his refund check. He was indeed fully refunded as he cancelled within the timeframe.

Terrible customer service and lost items

I almost never write reviews but this experience has been so awful that I felt compelled to do so here. IF YOU VALUE YOUR POSSESSIONS, DON'T HIRE FULL NATION MOVING.

This is probably the worst experience I've had with a company/service. Everything started out fine but went downhill quickly. The sales contact was extremely responsive during the quote process but communication became an issue from the moment I actually signed the contract. Despite this, everything went relatively smoothly on the pickup side. Movers seemed professional and everything got from the storage unit to the truck just fine.

It was on the delivery side that the issues really began. I tried multiple times to get clarity on when my stuff was being dropped off but couldn't get a response from my contact at Full Nation. The truck driver ended up calling me at 9:30am the day before Thanksgiving telling me the truck would be arriving at 11:00am. I was scheduled to leave town for the holiday at noon but had to rush out and get payment and prepare for everything to be delivered. Since I was going out of town, the whole delivery process was extremely rushed.

I wasn't able to do a close examination of all the items, but was pressured by the driver to sign the inventory as soon as the items were taken off the truck and put on the sidewalk. It seemed like everything was there and in decent shape and the movers were quick and efficient getting everything from the sidewalk into my apartment.

It was only days later when I was unpacking that I noticed an entire box was missing. The items in the box were of significant financial and sentimental value. It took me over a week to get any sort of response from Full Nation. I called my contact and the general company number multiple times before someone finally pointed me towards a cookie cutter claims website. No actual effort was made by the company to explain the lost box or recover it.

I've filed a claim against them but haven't heard anything for over a month. In all likelihood, the box and contents will never be returned and I will never be compensated.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $3800

Official company response

We do regret that the customer experienced a loss of a box and don't take it lightly. The customer was provided with the claims process in order to file for compensation.

Don't trust them

Beware. I don't believe that most of these reviews are true. My daughter and I both booked moves at the same time. The main reason that we did is that they told us they were not brokers and we would have the move done with their employees and their trucks. That was not true. Both of our moves were done by hired out companies. Of course, there is no recourse since they have your deposit and you have to move. They added charges to the move, and even though I gave them an exact count of items and sizes, their estimate was 10% off. When I tried to call the office, I never would get a return call. I had Jordan's phone number and called and texted him directly and he would never return my calls. Julian, my salesperson did not respond to multiple emails. Do not buy the line that they own 56 trucks and are different from brokers. Red flag that I ignored, They do not accept credit cards. No recourse there either. Good luck.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $3500

Official company response

The customer was indeed assisted on the pickup and was picked up by a Full Nation crew on Full Nation Paperwork. We certainly understand the frustration with estimates being less than perfect.

Do not use these guys

They told me they were not a broker because they have their own trucks. But for my pickup in Maryland they sublet the job out to another company over which they had no control. The truck did not show up the first two days scheduled. On the third day they showed up and wanted three times the amount of the estimate provided by Full Nation. My Full Nation representative got into a verbal altercation with the mover who showed up, who promptly left. Full Nation agreed to refund my money. After more than three months of follow through (and badgering) they finally did refund my deposit. That is why they get the second star, otherwise is one star.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $3000

Official company response

This customer was refunded. It is unfortunate that in the end we could not service the particular move with one of our trucks. We sent more than one check and thankfully the customer finally received it. This customer was FULLY REFUNDED.

Long-distance move from Salem, OR to Titusville, FL

Shameful

I was quoted 3000$ for a move from Salem Oregon to Titusville Fl. When the contract company NOT Full Nation moving showed up my price jumped to almost 6000$. The “contract” company guy says it’s 500 sq ft not the 150 I was told but “ if I work with him he’ll work with me”? So 500 becomes 450.. then nope it’s 400 oh now it’s 300 sq ft. Price at 300 sg ft is 4500$. Mind you I have given 1500$ deposit. This feel like a scam at this point I say no thank you. I am now not being given my money back as they said they already paid the contract company. I am disabled and that 1500$ is a month of income for me.
